LotionX Product Mock Launch
This mockup project reflects a complete design journey from brand identity to product launch visuals, using tools like Photoshop, Blender and After Effects. The goal was to simulate a professional skincare product campaign for portfolio and presentation purposes.
Project Overview:
Lotion X is a concept premium skincare concept brought to life through a seamless combination of product design, 3D modeling and motion graphics. This project showcases my full creative workflow from graphic design to final product visualization.
Process Breakdown:
1. Logo & Brand Identity Design
The project began with crafting the brand identity for LotionX. Inspired by nature and purity, I designed a minimalistic yet elegant logo using the symbolic leaf motif. The palette combines Majestic Blue, Gaia Green, and Opal Pearl White to evoke trust, freshness, and sophistication. Fonts used include Magical Nordic for the title and Cardo Regular for supporting text creating a timeless, upscale aesthetic.
2. Label & Packaging Design (Photoshop):
Using Adobe Photoshop, I designed a custom lotion label blending soft gradients with a serene mountain landscape illustration. This communicates LotionX’s core message: “Naturally You.” The design balances clean layout and artistic storytelling, optimized for modern skincare packaging.
3. 3D Product Modeling (Blender):
Moving into 3D, I modeled the lotion containers in Blender with realistic dimensions and applied the custom label textures. Lighting and material nodes were fine-tuned for photorealistic reflections and soft shadows, aiming for a high-end commercial feel.
Multiple camera angles were set up to render clean visuals for both presentation and animation purposes. These renders were then composited to match the branding aesthetics, setting the stage for the marketing animation.
3. Motion Design & Final Composition (After Effects):
Finally, the rendered assets were imported into Adobe After Effects for the promotional video. The motion design incorporates sleek text transitions, bold typography, and brand callouts like “Now Available Countrywide”, ensuring a dynamic and engaging product reveal.
